The Ginny Marie is a 38-foot wooden schooner docked at Harborfront Park in Port Jefferson. Captain Brian Murphy and his first mate run three sails per day through the Port Jefferson Harbor and into the Long Island Sound. Trips generally last around two hours and can accommodate up to six passengers at a time. Get breathtaking views on a vintage sailing vessel. You can bring your own food and drinks aboard.

According to the website, Captain Murphy masterfully pairs the old world marine elegance of a hand crafted, turn of the century, working wooden schooner, to the beautiful backdrop of the Long Island Sound.  He is committed to preserving the authenticity of pure sail vessels while protecting the environment as he provides passengers the most genuine, traditional wind powered sailing experience available on Long Island.
