Nassau County Police Department: Bias Incident Being Investigated

Roslyn Heights, NY - October 6th, 2013 - The Third Squad is investigating a Bias Incident that occurred between October 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM and October 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Roslyn Heights.
 
According to detectives, a 38 year old female observed a swastika with the word “death” written in black marker behind a stop sign located at the corner of Warner Avenue and Edwards Street.  The victim continued to walk down the block and observed another Town of North Hempstead sign with another swastika drawn with black marker on the back.  
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
