One Long Islander is now $50,000 richer after scoring a winning New York State Lottery ticket at a Selden supermarket.
 
Lottery officials confirmed that a third-prize winning Powerball ticket was purchased at the Shoprite located at 71 College Plaza for the drawing held on Saturday, October 5.
 
The winning numbers for the ticket were 2-12-46-52-65 , and the Powerball was 3.
