The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office held its Fourth Annual Executive Leadership Conference on Tuesday, October 8 at the Boulton Center for the Performing Arts in Bay Shore. Over 150 upper-level members of staff from various law enforcement agencies, government, and public sector businesses were in attendance. The conference featured presentations by experts in leadership including former NFL Super Bowl Champion Gary Brown, Lindsay McCall Long a retired law enforcement professional from Arizona who survived multiple gunshot wounds during a critical incident, and a female law enforcement panel moderated by 1010 WINS’ Sophia Hall.
Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. created the Executive Leadership Conference to help bridge the gap that exists in leadership training for law enforcement. The invitation-only conference is open to high-ranking law enforcement officials from Suffolk County, Nassau County, New York City and beyond.
