The Junior League of Long Island Announces Halloween Costume Party Fundraiser
The Junior League of Long Island (JLLI) is proud to announce that registration is open for its Halloween-themed Costume Party Fundraiser on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 7-11 pm.
This fundraiser will raise funds to support the organization’s efforts as they recently reopened their thrift shop after an eight-month renovation due to the damage sustained from Hurricane Ida. The event will be hosted at the Lodge in Huntington on Pulaski Road. Thanks to generous in-kind donations from local businesses, the event will be a one-of-a-kind, charitable evening featuring numerous raffle baskets with extraordinary prizes!
The proceeds from this Halloween Costume Party Fundraiser, including the raffles, will support the many committees and projects that their active volunteers work on throughout the year.
"Someone once said Halloween is not only about putting on a costume, but it’s about finding the imagination and costume within ourselves. I hope the Junior League of Long Island’s fundraiser will encourage attendees to find that old Halloween magic for themselves while supporting a good cause.” - Cristine Bruno, President
The Junior League's mission is to promote voluntarism, develop and train volunteers and improve local communities. Through these fundraising efforts, the League is able to accomplish all three initiatives. The work that the Junior League of Long Island does is essential to improve Long Island’s communities.
Tickets are on sale NOW at https://www.jlli.org/fundraiser.
