Mastic Beach, NY - October 15th, 2014 - The William Floyd Community Summit recently honored William Floyd Board of Education Vice President Jeananne Dawson, who along with Tony Alfano, Tony Coraci and Toni Liberti of Century 21 Cor-Ace Realty and Ace Builders, Inc., has worked tirelessly in coordinating the annual William Floyd Scholarship Golf Tournament. Since the first tournament was held 18 years ago, more than $430,000 has been raised to assist graduating William Floyd seniors with college scholarships.
“On behalf of the William Floyd School District, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the four organizers of this annual event – Mrs. Dawson, Mr. Alfano, Mr. Coraci and Mr. Liberti,” said Dr. Paul Casciano, Superintendent of Schools, William Floyd School District. “It has been their hard work, dedication and generosity in giving of their time and resources, that has helped support hundreds of William Floyd graduates pursue their dreams.”
“It was the Summit's honor to pay homage to Century 21 Cor-Ace Realty, Ace Builders and Jeananne Dawson for the 18 years of providing scholarships to the students in the William Floyd School District,” said Beth Wahl, President, William Floyd Community Summit. “Together they have assisted hundreds of graduating seniors in their pursuit of higher education."
