Male Ejected from Electric Scooter when Jeep Struck Him

The Homicide Squad is investigating a Vehicular Accident involving an electric scooter that occurred on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 4:09 p.m. in Woodmere.
 
According to detectives, a male, 45 was operating an electric scooter southbound on Peninsula Boulevard and was struck by 2008 Jeep traveling northbound prior to making a left turn on Saddle Ridge Road.
 
The male was ejected from the scooter and suffered multiple traumas to his head and body. He was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition. 
 
The Jeep operator, 41, remained at the scene and was not  injured.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
