The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 7:27 pm in Hempstead.
According to detectives, a male pedestrian was struck by a 2006 Nissan Ultima traveling southbound on Peninsula Boulevard in the vicinity of President Street. The 33-year-old male operator of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The male pedestrian suffered severe trauma and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced by a hospital physician.
No further injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
