The Nassau County Police Department reports the details of a baby delivery that occurred in Uniondale on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 8:40 am.
According to police, First Precinct police responded to the vicinity of Front Street and Chester Street for a call of a women going in labor. Upon arrival, Officers located the pregnant women seated in the front seat of a passenger vehicle actively in labor.
First Precinct police assisted by two Nassau County Police medics were successful in delivering a healthy baby girl.
Officers transported the mother and child in stable condition to a local nearby hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
