Legislator Drucker Celebrates Milestone Birthday of Jericho Centenarian Gloria Kaplan

Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D - Plainview) had the pleasure of sharing in the 100th birthday celebration of Gloria Kaplan at The Bristal in Jericho Wednesday, Oct. 16. During the festivities, Deputy Minority Leader Drucker presented Mrs. Kaplan with a Nassau County Legislature Citation in recognition of this joyous milestone.

Mrs. Kaplan, who turned 100 on Saturday, Oct. 19, is a native of Brooklyn who attended Eastern District High School before going to business school for three years and working with attorneys in New York City. After marrying in 1942, she became a stay-at-home mother to her family’s three children and traveled the world with her husband of 70 years. In addition to her three children, Mrs. Kaplan is very proud of her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
