The Better With Pets Summit to Showcase Pets' Healing Power, Nutritional Innovation and the Evolving Relationships Between Pets and People
Brooklyn, NY - October 17, 2016 - Purina’s fourth annual Better With Pets Summit will bring together 15 pet experts to explore how pets better our lives every day, and explore what is in store for the future of pet nutrition. The day-long event will feature panellists from academia, science, and behavioural research, puppy and kitten therapy sessions, and experts who have dedicated their lives to bringing together pets and people, during all stages of life.
Key Panellists and Spokespeople Available:
- Nat Fields, President and CEO of Urban Resource Institute (URI), a domestic abuse shelter in New York City that welcomes families and their pets
- America’s Veterinarian Dr. Marty Becker, to share the many benefits of pets, how they enhance our lives and a variety of tips for pet parents
- Kevin Li, founder of PlayDate, a new pet toy that enables owners to interact with their pets anywhere and anytime
- Flip Becker, from the St. Louis Children’s Hospital to share testimonies of patients who have used the new Purina Family Pet Center to spend time with their four-legged family members during the treatment process
