A developer is proposing to divide a vacant, dilapidated 4,734-square-foot building into a deli, barbershop and office space. The applicant, JLL Properties, put forth a proposal to the Riverhead Town Board to redevelop the property at 1312 East Main Street and was on the October 5th public hearing agenda.
According to a Loopnet.com listing, the building is 6,150 square feet on a .35 acre lot with 50 parking spaces.
This proposal has been in the works since 2018, according to reports. It is formerly the location of Bejay Auto Parts but has been vacant since at least 2015.
