Hempstead Board of Education to Hold Grief Counseling For Students After Death of 12 Year Old Child

Hempstead, NY - October 19, 2015 - Hempstead School Board President Lamont E. Johnson and Associate Superintendent James Clark will hold media avalability with grief counselors on Monday, October 19, 2015 - 10am at the Alverta B. Gray Schultz Middle School located at 70 Greenwich Street in Hempstead. The school is providing support for the classmates of Dejah Joyner to help them deal with the tragedy of her death. The school has put in place a crisis team to assist the students.
