Suffolk Police Announce Road Closures in Connection with Catholic Health Services’ Marathon Oct. 22

Suffolk County Police are advising motorists of road closures due to the Sixth Annual Catholic Health Services’ Suffolk County Marathon on October 22.
 
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Babylon Long Island Rail Road Station. Runners will travel east along Montauk Highway then south over the Robert Moses Bridge to Captree State Park.
 
Runners will then return northbound over the bridge to eastbound Montauk Highway to Gardiner County Park in Bay Shore. The event is expected to run until approximately 12:30 p.m. 
 
Motorists are urged to find alternate routes.
