West Hempstead, NY - October 23rd, 2014 - The Fourth Squad reports the details of an attempted Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 9:30 p.m. in West Hempstead.
According to detectives, the male victim was exiting his vehicle in the driveway of his Nightingale Road home when he was approached by three male black subjects all dressed in dark hooded sweat shirts in their twenties. One subject displayed a handgun as they demanded the victim’s property. A family member of the victim pulled in driveway and the subjects fled on foot without any proceeds. No injuries were reported.
