Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating a mentally disabled Babylon man who was reported missing from the Bayview Rest Home yesterday.

Babylon, NY - October 22, 2015 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating a mentally disabled Babylon man who was reported missing from the Bayview Rest Home yesterday.

John Kearns, 54, was last seen at the adult home where he resides, located at 143 E. Main Street on October 21 at approximately 8 a.m. He was last seen by staff members wearing a green shirt and tan shorts. Kearns suffers from a mental disability which severely impairs his ability to communicate with others.  

Kearns is described as white, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with brown eyes and is balding.

Anyone with information about Kearns is asked to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or 911.
