The Fifth Squad reports the details for a Disturbance incident that occurred on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 11:14 AM in Valley Stream.
According to Detectives, a male subject was inside the Clique clothing store located on the 2nd floor of the Green Acres Shopping Mall, located at 1015 Green Acres Mall, Sunrise Highway.
The subject was removing clothing and attempted to leave when he was confronted by store security and a physical altercation ensued. The altercation continued into the common area of the mall when the subject displayed a gun and discharged a single round.
The subject fled the store and entered a red SUV leaving in an unknown direction. The mall was placed into lockdown for people’s safety as police responded. No injuries were reported at scene.
The subject is described as a male black, early 20’s, 5’9’’ tall, thin build, black hair with blonde colored tips. His clothing description is a red shirt with white insignia, blue jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
