Exercise caution handling any potential ignition sources, including machinery, cigarettes, and matches. Any fires that ignite will have the potential to spread quickly. This forecast considers meteorological, fuel, and land conditions and has been developed in coordination with state fire and land management officials.

Duo Wanted for Stealing Vodka from Huntington Station Liquor Store

Huntington Station, NY - October 29th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people who stole merchandise from a liquor store in Huntington Station.

Two women entered West Hills Wine and Liquor, located at 1720 New York Ave., on October 21, 2014, at 5:30 p.m. and stole a bottle of vodka. The women are described as white and in their late teens to early 20s. They fled in a white Jeep with a black roof rack.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
