Man Trespassed from 7-11, Flees Police and is Allegedly Caught in Possession of Crack Cocaine

On Saturday October 28th, 2023 at about 11:48 PM, the Southampton Town Police report the arrest of Erick J. Contreras-Guevara age 22 of Riverhead, NY. 
 
Contreras-Guevara was called in as an unwanted subject at the 7-11 located on Flanders Road in the hamlet of Flanders. Contreras-Guevara was reported to be harassing customers and refusing to leave the store.  
 
Upon police arrival Contreras-Guevara was observed in the parking lot, causing a disturbance, screaming obscenities and acting irate. After numerous warnings Contreras-Guevara was advised he was under arrest. Contreras-Guevara fled on foot, westbound on Flanders Road and was apprehended by police several blocks away. 
 
Contreras-Guevara was arrested, taken to Southampton Town Police HQ for arrest processing, where he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. He was held to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court at morning arraignment.  
 
Contreras-Guevara was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Resisting Arrest (Misdemeanors) and Disorderly Conduct.
