The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County will host its annual Holiday Light Show at the Enchanted Forest on Friday and Saturday nights beginning Saturday, November 29, 2024 @ 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Girl Scouts’ Camp Edey, located at 1500 Lakeview Avenue in Bayport, NY 11705.
The show returns to Camp Edey for the first time since 2016 with an immersive, half-mile walk-through experience, with dazzling lighted displays, including the iconic giant lighted Christmas tree, with plenty of fun photo opportunities along the way.
The light display will also feature the designs of five creative Girl Scouts who submitted winning entries in this year’s Holiday Lights contest.
Also, this year, Santa will be making his special visits in the cozy lodge, offering families the perfect spot for a memorable holiday photo. The Chill Zone will feature fire pits, music, and games to keep the holiday spirit alive, and the Girl Scout Shoppe will be open with festive goodies and Girl Scout merch for sale.
“The walk-through format allows families and friends to explore the beautiful light displays up close and enjoy interactive elements, photo opportunities, fire pits, and games in a more relaxed and festive atmosphere,” said Tammy Severino, President and CEO of Girl Scouts of Suffolk County. “Plus, it aligns with our goal of fostering a stronger sense of community and connection, which can be harder to achieve when everyone is in their cars.”
