Bayville, NY - November 7, 2018 - The Nassau County Police Department reports the Arrest of a Bayville man for Driving While Intoxicated that occurred on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 5:40 p.m. in Bayville.
 
According to police, units responded to a motor vehicle accident on Ludlam Avenue at West Harbor Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a Black Chevrolet pick-up truck had struck a utility pole, breaking it off at the base which caused power lines to come down. The driver of the vehicle, defendant Steven Glozek, 39, was found standing outside of the vehicle. He was found to have glassy, bloodshot eyes and was unsteady on his feet. He was placed under arrest without incident and transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
 
Steven Glozek is charged with Driving While Intoxicated. He will be arraigned when medically practical.
