Westbury, NY - November 8th, 2013 - The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Westbury on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 6:00 P.M.
According to detectives, an 18 year old male was walking on Powells Lane in the vicinity of Rockland Street when he was approached from behind by three unknown male black subjects. All of the subjects are described as 19 to 20 years of age with subject one wearing either a white jacket or sweatshirt, subject two wearing a black jacket or sweatshirt and subject three wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. The subjects pushed the victim to the ground, struck him about the head and face and removed a cell phone from his pants pocket. The victim was able to flee and refused medical attention at the scene.
