Two NCPD Officers Injured by Teen While Responding to Hicksville Domestic Disturbance
Second Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Hicksville woman for multiple Assaults that occurred on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 8:27 pm in Hicksville.
According to detectives, officers responded to a disturbance at a Hicksville residence located on Harding Avenue. Upon arrival, officers were notified by an adult female complainant that she was having an argument with a family member.
The defendant, Rosa Sanchez, 18, approached the officers and became physically combative.Two officers sustained injuries during the course of the arrest as the defendant was violent and combative while resisting arrest.
The two injured officers and the defendant were all transported by Nassau County Police Ambulances to a nearby hospital for assessment and treatment.
Defendant Rosa Sanchez is being charged with two (2) counts of Assault 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. She will be arraigned on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
