Lynbrook, NY - November 9th, 2015 - The Fourth Squad reports an arrest for Criminal Possession of a Weapon on Sunday, November 08, 2015 at 12:32 A.M. in Lynbrook.

According to detectives, Shane A. Price, 18, of Northern Boulevard, Baldwin was stopped by a Lynbrook patrol officer for speeding westbound on Merrick Road at N. Prospect Avenue in a 2012 Volkswagen.

An investigation led to the discovery of marijuana, a Lorcin Model L380 pistol and a loaded magazine for the firearm.  Price was placed under arrest at the scene without incident.

The defendant is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and speed in violation of the posted speed limit. He was arraigned on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
