Officials Report Roosevelt Woman Arrested After Breaking into Baldwin Residence
Baldwin, NY - November 10, 2017 - The First Squad reports the arrest of a Roosevelt woman for Burglary that occurred on Thursday, November 09, 2017 at 3:30 am in Baldwin.
According to detectives, a 33 year old male victim was inside his Cramer Court home when he heard a noise coming from his garage area. The victim went to inspect the area and observed the attached garage door ajar and a person wearing all black standing in the hallway. The unknown subject then fled the home on foot.
First Precinct Officers arrived and observed a subject kneeling between two bushes on Linkwood Drive. An investigation was conducted and the subject failed to produce identification and gave a false name. The true identity was revealed and defendant Lillian Jackson, 50, was placed under arrest. Proceeds from the home were two sets of car keys and an Apple IPod which were recovered in the defendant’s jacket pocket.
Defendant Jackson is being charged Burglary 2nd Degree and False Personation. She will be arraigned on Friday, November 10, 2017 at First District Court, Hempstead.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
