LuminoCity's Holiday Lights Festival - LuminoCity is partnering with Nassau County this holiday season to bring you a world of magical light installations that come to life at Eisenhower Park. This year’s theme, “Wonder Journey” will deliver state-of-the-art production that brings art, light, and color to life through remarkable displays! Where: Eisenhower Park, East Meadow. When: November 9th-January 7th.
Jones Beach Magic of Lights - Magic of Lights is a dazzling, drive-through holiday lights experience featuring favorite holiday scenes and characters of the season using the latest LED technology and digital animations. Experience Magic of Lights from the comfort and safety of your own car as you wind through the sparkling path of Long Island’s favorite holiday tradition. Where: Jones Beach State Park. When: November 17th-December 30th.
Girl Scout of Suffolk County’s Holiday Light Show - This year, the light show will be a fully immersive, walk-through Enchanted Forest, which features 80 illuminated holiday-themed displays—including five that were designed by award-winning Girl Scouts. Adding to the camaraderie, Girl Scouts of Suffolk County have also arranged photos with Santa, picnics with s'mores, music, and games for visitors to enjoy. Where: Southaven County Park, 761 Victory Avenue. When: November 25th to December 30th.
Drive Through Live Nativity - Visitors are invited to travel back in time, from the comfort of their car through a “time tunnel” to Bethlehem to witness the miracle of Christ’s birth. Participants will see and hear the Christmas story come alive with authentic characters, majestic backdrops & multi-media. Travel the streets of Bethlehem and see the manger like it was thousands of years ago. Where: Stony Brook Christian Assembly, 400 Nichols Road, East Setauket. When: December 2nd-3rd; December 8th-9th from 6-9pm.
LongHouse Illuminated, Holiday Season Atmosphere and Market - Visit LongHouse after dark on garden paths lined with lights and glowing sculptures, and see the gardens as you've never seen them before! Enjoy the beauty of trees and plants in winter, then warm up in the Pavilion with holiday music and an Artisan Market including hand-made goods, culinary treats, and a hands-on creative activity for all ages with The Shine Studio.
