NCPD: Multiple Arrests Made in Connection with Burglary of Woodbury Jewelry Store

The Major Case Bureau report the arrests of six individuals for a Burglary that occurred on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 3:04 am in Woodbury.
 
According to Burglary Squad Detectives, six subjects entered Florique Florists, located at 7961 Jericho Turnpike by cutting through the roof. Once inside the subjects then cut a hole through an interior wall which connected to Elegant Jewelers, located at 7959 Jericho Turnpike. 
 
The subjects left the jewelry store without removing any merchandise and fled the scene in a dark grey Dodge Durango. After a thorough investigation, Burglary Squad Detectives with the assistance of Bureau of Special Operations Officers located the subjects shortly after at 171 Lake Drive, Huntington. The subjects were then placed under arrest. 
 
Defendants Leonardo Alberto Jara-Arias, 52, Bruno Paulo Bustos-Saacedra, 33, Johnathan Andre Beccera-Paez, 33, Henry Yuri Fuentes-Sepulveda, 37, Luis Mario Avendano-Tapia, 47, and Lebanon R Daza-Gonzalez, 22, all of 171 Lake Drive, Huntington are charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree. All defendants were arraigned on Friday, November 8, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
