Glen Cove, NY - November 13th, 2014 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Glen Cove man for Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child that occurred on Sunday, August 31, 2014.
According to detectives, an investigation was conducted after a report was filed with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. It was determined that defendant Ralph DeMayo, 28, of Lawrence Lane uploaded various child pornography images on his home computer. On November 12, 2014 detectives from the Crimes Against Property Squad executed a search warrant at 219 Lawrence Lane and placed the defendant under arrest.
Defendant Ralph DeMayo who is a registered Level 1 Sex Offender was charged with 3 counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child. DeMayo will be arraigned on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at First District Court, Hempstead.
