Nassau Authorities Report Fatal Vehicle Crash in East Meadow
East Meadow, NY - November 13, 2018 - The Third Squad is investigating a Serious Vehicular Auto Accident that occurred in East Meadow on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 6:47 am.
According to detectives, Kenneth Moultrie, 62, of Astoria was operating a 2011 Ford north in the vicinity of 100 Carman Avenue when his vehicle crossed over into the southbound lanes and struck a tree head.
The Nassau County Emergency Services unit responded and assisted Third Precinct police and extricated him out from the vehicle. The victim suffered severe body trauma and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. He was pronounced deceased a short time later by hospital staff.
The investigation is ongoing.
