Man Stabs Roommate in Chest for Playing Music Too Loud

Seventh Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Bellmore man for an Assault that occurred on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 10:17 pm in Bellmore.
 
According to detectives, the male victim, 31, was playing music in his apartment when he was approached by a roommate regarding the volume. The argument escalated and Frank Liguori, 61, of Bellmore, stabbed the victim in the chest. The victim  responded to 7-11 located at 2540 Merrick Road to find assistance.
 
Police were notified and the subject was arrested without incident.
 
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.
 
Defendant Liguori is charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He will be arraigned on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at First District Court, Hempstead.
