SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Stealing Donation Box in Huntington

Huntington, NY - November 14th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a donation box at a Huntington store last month.

A man stole a donation box that was on the counter at One Stop, located at 5 High St., on October 29 at 2:50 a.m. The box contained approximately $50 and was being collected for Townwide Fund of Huntington, which raises money for local charities providing health and human services to the community.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
