Rockville Centre, NY - November 13, 2016 - Senator Todd Kaminsky is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Turkey/Food Drive to benefit families within the 9th Senate District. Suggested donations include turkeys, gift cards, canned goods, instant potatoes and canned gravy. Donations will be accepted now through November 23rd at Senator Kaminsky's District Office, located at 55 Front Street, Rockville Centre, or pick ups can be arranged by calling 516-766-8383.
"With Thanksgiving approaching, it is important to remember that there are local families who are unable to afford everything that goes into a traditional Thanksgiving meal," said Kaminsky. "We all have something to be thankful for, and I hope that with the community's help, we'll be able to provide our neighbors with a warm meal for the holiday."
