The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Valley Stream woman for a Grand Larceny that occurred between March 2023 and January 2024 in Westbury.
 
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an investigation led to the arrest of defendant Kimberly Clarke, 44, of 85 Lotus Oval S, a former employee of Family of Kidz located at 1400 Old Country Road. The defendant, acting in her capacity as a licensed Special Instructions Therapist, forged multiple signatures. 
 
Defendant Clarke billed Family of Kidz for 52 sessions that she never provided and forged five parent’s signatures a total of 52 times, on official Nassau County documents causing a loss of $2,886. Following the investigation, defendant Clarke was arrested without incident on November 14, 2024.
 
Defendant Clarke is being charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree, 12 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree and 13 counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree. Defendant Clarke was arraigned on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
