CANCELLED - SCPD Issues Silver Alert for Missing Mastic Woman Suffering from Alzheimer's Disease

Mastic, NY - November 15, 2017 - Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Mastic woman who suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
 
Veronica Bripernauth, 58, was last seen leaving her residence, located at 16 Bonny Drive, on November 14 at approximately 6 p.m. She was driving a silver 2004 Ford Explorer, New York plate HML 9985, to Best Yet in Shirley.
 
Bripernauth is 5 feet 1 inch tall and approximately 150 pounds. She was wearing black pants, a black shirt and black sneakers.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on Bripernauth’s location to call 911 or the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
