Suffolk DA: Mastic Man Sentenced For Sex Crimes Committed Against Young Girl
Mastic, NY - November 15, 2017 - A Mastic man was sentenced to 25 years in prison today for committing sex crimes against a young girl beginning when the victim was eight years old.
After deliberating approximately five hours over two days, a jury last month convicted Guadencio Chino of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree, Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Chino abused the victim from 2011 until his arrest by Suffolk County detectives on November 4 of last year.
In addition to the 25-year prison term, Judge Barbara Kahn sentenced the 53-year- old Chino to 20 years of post-release supervision.
