The Family Wellness Workshop will take place on Saturday, December 14 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Suffolk County Environmental Center at the Scully Estate, located at 550 South Bay Avenue in Islip. The Environmental Center is also home to a Wind Phone located in the Gabriel’s Giving Tree Memorial and Serenity Garden.
The agenda will include:
Sound Healing with Himalayan Singing bowls, Chimes and other vibrational healing instruments with Vinny Posillico; Gentle Yoga with Christianne Gentry, a certified trauma trained yoga & meditation instructor; and a lecture and book discussion by Michael Hoffner, author of God’s Presence in the Present. Hoffner currently serves as Adelphi University’s Interfaith and Spiritual Director. Light refreshments will be served. Wear comfortable clothes if you will be participating in the Gentle Yoga workshop.
