Old Saint Nick will be making appearances all over Long Island this season but one of the most anticipated meet and greet with the big man is in Port Jefferson Village where he will be at The Roe House.
Unfortunately, the appearance is so popular it’s already sold out.
In order to avoid crowding and make visits more enjoyable for visitors, the village scheduled specific time slots that parties of up to six people could reserve for their visit. The scheduling also helped to eliminate long lines. Time slots were reserved online. The event was completely free.
There is no word if additional times will be scheduled to open up more visits with Santa Claus in Port Jefferson Village.
Located on the corner of Barnum Avenue and West Broadway, The Roe House is a museum that shows the history of Port Jefferson village and its importance to the success of America in the Revolutionary War. According to an article on Patch.com, the structure “miraculously survived being moved from four separate locations since it was built in the mid-1700s.”
