On the evening of November 9th, 2023, two unidentifued suspects entered and inflicted serious damage upon Kenny's Castaways Restaurant at 432 West Lake Drive in Montauk, according to the Easthampton Police Department.

According to the restaurant's proprietor, Mario Yagobi, the actions of the two suspects resulted in "significant damage- shattering glass doors, wantonly defacing our mirrors, and causing extensive harm to our bar area, including our computer system and an extensive inventory of over 40 bottles of fine spirits. It pains me deeply to recount the wanton vandalism that ensued."

Yagobi noted that despite the widespread destruction caused by the suspects, they did not abscond with any property. Their rampage was noticed by patrons who promptly alerted the authorities; however, the perpetrators had absconded before the arrival of law enforcement.

The Easthampton Detective division, led by Detective Michael Coleman, has undertaken diligent measures. Video footage from both the nearby Tipperrary Inn and the Seaside Sushi place - where the suspects had been previosuly spotted - has been secured, and the authorities have taken possession of the bar stools for fingerprint analysis.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Michael Coleman at 631-537-6989, Extension 4. The reference for this incident is EHT-CR 1348-23.
