Old Brookville, NY - November 18, 2016 - The Homicide Squad is investigating a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 6:44 am in Old Brookville.

According to detectives, Denis Coursen, 23, of Glen Cove was driving a 1999 Nissan Maxima northbound on Glen Cove Road at Glen Head Road when he collided into a full size sanitation truck.

The victim was transported to Glen Cove Hospital where he was pronounced deceased by emergency room personnel at 9:45 am. 

There were no injuries to the driver of the sanitation truck.  Both vehicles will undergo brake and safety tests.
