Update: November 22nd, 2013 - Third Squad detectives report the arrest of Brian Wint, 20, of 22 Arthur Ave. S. Floral Park, on Thursday, 11/21/13 in connection with the above listed crime.  Wint is being charged with Robbery 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Friday, 11/22/13 in First District Court, Hempstead. 

East Garden City, NY - November 19th, 2013 - The Third Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 5:25 pm in East Garden City.

According to detectives, an 18 year old male victim was walking in front of the Nassau County Community College bookstore located at 1 Education Drive when he was approached by two unknown male black subjects. The subjects then punched and pushed the victim to the ground and removed an undetermined amount of US currency from his left pocket. Both subjects then fled the scene south on Duncan Avenue in a brown Nissan Maxima. Subject one is described as being 20 years of age, black hooded sweat shirt, and camouflage pants. Subject two is described as being 20 years of age, light skinned, black jeans, black hooded sweat shirt. There were no injuries reported.
