A lucky Long Island resident is significantly wealthier today after hitting it big with a New York Lottery Multiplier Craze scratch-off ticket.

Vincent Burzotta of West Babylon received purchased the ticket that ended up netting him a $3 million jackpot at Kiana Wine and Liquor located at 926 Little East Neck Road in West Babylon, according to Lottery officials.

Burzotta opted to take his winnings in one lump sum, which after taxes came to approximately $1.4 million.
