Legislator Kara Hahn, Daniel McCaffrey and Shawn Nuzzo of the Greening of 25A Committee admired the completion of Daniel’s community service project at the Stony Brook Railroad Station in Stony Brook.

Stony Brook, NY - November 22, 2013 - Daniel McCaffrey of Setauket recently completed his Eagle Scout community service project at the Stony Brook Railroad Station.  The Ward Melville High School Senior was mentored by Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn on this proposal.
 
Upon its completion, Daniel’s project placed a new community centered events and attractions kiosk, a new bench and landscaping at the transit hub.  To finance his plan, Daniel held pasta night fundraisers.
