Primark, the budget fashion retailer from Ireland, has opened its first store on Long Island at Roosevelt Field Mall this month. The retailer has two other stores planned to open by the end of the year, one in Queens, and another in Brooklyn.

These stores kick off Primark's US growth plan to reach 60 stores by 2026, according to a statement released by the company. Roosevelt Field is the brand's 409th store and its 14th store in the U.S.

The location will have 44,290 square feet of retail selling space and will offer shoppers high quality fashion at value prices.

"Primark offers shoppers affordability without sacrificing quality,”  said Kevin Tulip, President, Primark US in a statement. “Whether they are shopping for their own essentials, the latest trend pieces, or fulfilling loved ones' holiday wish lists, we have something for everyone in the family and we are committed to delivering the best value on the high street."

Founded in Ireland in 1969 under the Penneys brand, Primark says that it provides affordable choices for everyone, from great quality everyday essentials to stand-out style across women's, men's and kids', as well as beauty, homeware and accessories.
