NCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Hempstead Bank Robbery

Hempstead, NY - November 23rd, 2013 - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred on November 22, 2013 at 7:15 pm in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, a male black or Hispanic entered TD Bank, 252 Peninsula Boulevard and presented a demand note to a teller. After being given an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject then fled the bank in an unknown direction. 
 
During the Robbery there were 4 employees and 2 customers present; none of whom were injured.
 
The subject was described as being 5’11” to 6’ tall, 180-190 pounds, 30-35 years old with a medium build, light complexion and black hair. He was unshaven and was wearing a black sweatshirt, black pea coat, black sweat pants, dark sneakers and sunglasses.
