Man Sought by Nassau Authorities in Connection with Wantagh Bank Robbery

NCPD are investigating a Bank Robbery in Wantagh.

Wantagh, NY - November 23, 2018 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 12:50 p.m. in Wantagh.
 
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male entered the TD Bank located at 1200 Wantagh Avenue. The subject approached the teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller passed an undetermined amount of US currency to the subject, who then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. 
 
The subject is described as a white male in his late 30’s, early 40’s, 5’8” -5’10” tall, slim build, brown beard, wearing a gray sweatshirt, a black knit hat, black scarf, black pants, white sneakers, sunglasses and gray and black gloves.
 
There were 3 employees inside the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries reported.
