Duo Wanted for Roosevelt Mugging

Roosevelt, NY - November 24th, 2014 - First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 5:20 pm in Roosevelt.

According to detectives, while walking home from a local store, the victim, a 32 year old male, while at the intersection of Raymond Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, was confronted by two male blacks. After grabbing the victim and throwing him to the ground, both subjects began punching him in the face. After going through his pockets and determining that they were empty, they grabbed the victim’s paper bag that contained a six pack of beer and fled the scene northbound on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The victim, who was transported to a local hospital for contusions and swelling to his face, described both subjects as being 6’1” tall and 23-27 years of age.
