West Islip, NY - November 26, 2013 - Once again it is that time of year. The weather is turning cold and we are reaching for our warm coats, hats, gloves and blankets to help keep us warm.
It is also the time of year we are reminded of those less fortunate than ourselves. Legislator Tom Barraga (R‐West Islip) will be collecting gently used adult and children’s coats, gloves, hats, scarves and blankets to help support the "Every Child’s Dream” Organization. As you sort through your family’s cold weather gear please consider donating any items no longer worn to those in need.
Collection bins can be found in his District Office located in the South Bay Commons Shopping Center, 187 Sunrise Highway, Suite C, West Islip, N.Y. Collection will be running now through December 5th.
