Farmingville Man Arrested in Connection with Robberies of Multiple Nassau County Banks

The Major Case Squad reports on the arrest of a Farmingville man on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 2:30 AM for multiple Robberies that occurred in Nassau County. 
 
According to Detectives, defendant Joseph Shamel Dumpson, 32, of 69 Overlook Drive was responsible for the robberies at the following times and locations:
 
  • December 22, 2020 – TD Bank located at 252 Peninsula Boulevard, Hempstead
  • December 23, 2020 – TD Bank located at 6060 Brush Hollow Road, Westbury
  • December 28, 2020 - TD Bank located at 1600 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow
 
Following a thorough investigation, defendant Joseph Shamel Dumpson was placed under arrest in Yaphank, Suffolk County without incident. He is charged with three counts of Robbery 3rd degree and will arraigned on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
