Police: DNA Evidence Links Homeless Man to Break-In at Great Neck Office Building

Great Neck, NY - November 28, 2018 - The Third Squad reports the arrest of a homeless man for a Burglary that occurred on July 15, 2011 at 9:36 a.m. in Great Neck.
 
According to detectives, Jose Vasquez, 27, who is homeless, entered an office building located at 15 Bond Street by unknown means and broke into office suite 111. The subject removed a security camera from the office. 
 
DNA evidence recovered from the scene linked defendant Vasquez to the crime. The subject was located and placed under arrest without incident.
 
Jose Vasquez is charged with Burglary 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in First District Court in Hempstead
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
