On November 17, 2023 at approximately 6:01 AM Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office East End Drug Task Force and the Southampton Town Police Department Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at 125 Cypress Avenue, Flanders in response to community complaints regarding frequent drug activity at the residence.
A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of a quantity of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and digital scales. Those arrested were: Melissa Ann Kust, Age 42 of 125 Cypress Avenue, Flanders on charges of Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 7th, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Monica Morvillo, age 23 of 125 Cypress Avenue, Flanders on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
The East End Drug Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit funded by Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney’s Office. The Task Force includes Detectives, Police Officers and Law Enforcement personnel from the New York State Police, Suffolk County Police Department, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, Suffolk County Probation Department, Southampton Town Police Department, Riverhead Police Department, East Hampton Town Police Department, Southampton Village Police Department, Southold Town Police Department, Shelter Island Police Department, DEA and Suffolk County District Attorney Investigators.
